East Devon can be easily be reached from the M5, the nearest motorway junction to Seaton is Junction 29 which is 17 miles away. After exiting junction 29 take the A30 to Honiton, at Honiton turn off onto the A38 to Axminster and then onto the A358 to Seaton.

Alternatively come off the M5 at junction 30 and take the A3052, the East Devon Heritage Coast Way which passes through some beautiful scenery via Sidmouth and onto Seaton.

Motorists from London and the South East can travel via the M4 to join the M5 at Bristol or as an alternative use the A303 and A30 which is mainly dual carriageway.

By Coach and Bus

From Exeter Bus Station it is possible to take the Jurassic CoastLinX53 Service, a fleet of modern double decker buses which run every 2 hours from Exeter to Weymouth. The Route takes these buses through Sidford, Beer, Seaton, Lyme Regis, Bridport and onto Weymouth.

A further X53 Service then carries on along the coast as far as Bournemouth.

By Rail

There are fast trains from the Midlands and the North to Exeter and from Londons Paddington and Waterloo stations to Exeter's St Davids station.Exeter is served by two railway stations, Central Station in the heart of the city provides a predominantly local service around Devon and the South West, whilst Exeter St David’s (ten minutes walk from the centre) connects with all the major towns and cities across the UK.

There is also a slower train service from London Waterloo to Exeter Central stopping at Axminster, Honiton, Feniton and Whimple. The train station at Axminster is 7 miles from Seaton and there is a local bus and taxi service between the two towns.
