We are a privately owned, family run hotel and bed and breakfast situated in the heart of Beer, Devon.
All of our twenty-one bedrooms are en-suite (with either shower or bath) and all have colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
We welcome singles, couples and families alike, with a choice of smoking and non-smoking rooms.
We also cater for well-behaved dogs in some allocated bedrooms. (NB: Dogs are permitted in all public rooms except the restaurant).
The Dolphin Hotel is a Grade II listed building with an interesting history dating back over 200 years, situated in the heart of the picturesque fishing village of Beer; yet only 150 yards from the stunning cove with its sheltered beach. We open all year round with the advantage of our own private car park for residents.
The Dolphin Hotel prides itself in offering its guests and casual customers excellent, traditional fayre from full breakfast, lunchtime snacks, innovative "special" dishes to a comprehensive A'la Carte menu and delicious sweet dishes.
Our popular Lounge Bar serves snacks, light bites at Lunchtime and an A La Carte menu. The recently refurbished Restaurant is the perfect place for an intimate meal for 2 or for a celebration with family and friends (reservations are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment). Or why not try our Carvery which is served every Sunday in the Function room from 12pm – 7pm. The Public Long Bar is open all day and opens on to a sheltered patio area.
The quality of the food reflects the selection of fresh produce used, including a variety of fish caught daily by Beer Fishermen, locally produced meat, dairy products and fruit & vegetables in season.
The local Cotleigh Brewery provides several award winning beers, well worth sampling. The Wine List covers a diverse range - something for every palate.
Beach huts may be booked on your behalf on the beach, which is ideal for swimming. Self-drive motorboat hire and deep-sea fishing are also available.
