Hedgehog Corner is a beautifully appointed Bed and Breakfast with a prize winning garden set in a wooded valley near Lyme Regis on the Devon and Dorset Jurassic Coast.
Every attention is given to detail in the warm and cosy well appointed guest bedrooms which overlook the gardens.
All rooms have flat screen digital televisions and lots of little extras.
The Retreat is a romantic secluded suite with en-suite shower room set away from the main house in its own private garden. It has a small fully equipped kitchenette yet it is close enough to walk to the main house for breakfast.
We have 3 other Guest Bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite with the 3rd having its own adjoining private bathroom.

Our breakfast menu offers a choice of, full English, Vegetarian, Organic Cereals and grains, fruit or yoghurt all served with a selection of Fair trade teas and coffees or juices.
Daily and local papers are provided in our breakfast room for you to browse through at your leisure as well as local guides and leaflets to help you plan your day.
Hedgehog Corner is within 5 minutes’ drive of the Jurassic Coast and Lyme Regis which is known locally as "The Pearl of Dorset."
The town is noted for the fossils found in the cliffs and beaches, which are part of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast Site.
The harbour wall, "The Cobb", features in Jane Austen′s novel Persuasion, and in the film and novel, The French Lieutenant′s Woman, by local writer John Fowles.
Lyme Regis is also home of "Mark Hix’s Oyster & Fish House". The restaurant overlooks The Cobb with uninterrupted views of the Jurassic coastline and Lyme Regis fishing port.
Hedgehog Corner is a few minutes drive from the nearby market town of Axminster which is home to Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage Shop & Canteen.
The River Cottage Canteen showcases the very best of what the South West has to offer seasonally, therefore the menu changes daily depending on what comes in from the farms and fishermen of the local area.
The River Cottage Local Produce Store sells a wide range of provisions including milk, eggs, bread, meat, poultry, beers and wines. The fantastic deli counter has award-winning pies, charcuterie and the one of the best English cheese displays in the West Country, featuring over 40 cheeses!
River Cottage HQ is 3 minutes’ drive away from Hedgehog Corner. River Cottage HQ (Park Farm) is Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s base for running courses and events inspired by the philosophy of the original River Cottage – ranging from a night’s dining and entertainment, through to courses in foraging, curing, gardening, bread making, butchery and more.
