The White Cottage is situated in the beautiful Axe Valley near the Devon and Dorset border, under 3 miles from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast line.

The unique Seaton Tramway can take you to the coast to Seaton alongside the wetlands and estuary of the River Axe.

Both Lyme Regis and the Regency town of Sidmouth are around 20 minutes drive from Colyton.

Colyton is an historic medieval town, the circular street arrangement, often refered to as a ‘maze’ is typically Saxon and the narrow winding streets are lined with picturesque stone built houses. Within the town there are local pubs, restaurant, general stores, butchers, pharmacy and post office all within five minutes stroll of the White Cottage.

The town is Set in beautiful unspoilt countryside and the picturesque riverside and coastal walks prove very popular with our guests.

Nearby golf courses at Axmouth (less than 3 miles away), Sidmouth, Honiton and Lyme Regis offer a variety of challenges for any handicap!

Although dating from the 15th century, White Cottage offers our guests well decorated, clean and comfortable accommodation.

Our bedrooms have been recently refurbished to provide a high standard of accommodation, yet staying in harmony with the 15th century thatched cottage.

We offer a choice of single, double, twin rooms and a family room with a double and 2 single beds, all rooms are en suite and centrally heated.

Rooms are equipped with TV/DVD and freeview along with Tea and Coffee making facilities, Hair dryers etc.

Younger Bed and Breakfast guests can be provided with cots and high chairs on request.

A hearty traditional Full English Breakfast is served in the cosy dining room.

Guests are welcome to relax in our garden and come and go as they please.

There is ample off road private parking. Bicycles and Motorcycles can be parked in our garage overnight on request.

We remain open throughout the year.

We regret that we cannot accept pets in our Bed and breakfast accommodation.

Smoking is not permitted except outside.
