Seaton Tramways operate narrow gauge heritage trams between Seaton, Colyford and Colyton in East Devon's Axe Valley and is one of Devon’s major tourist attractions carrying over 100,000 passengers a year.

The 3 mile long track runs alongside the River Axe estuary through the Seaton Marsh and Colyford Common Local Nature Reserves, to Colyford and the historic town of Colyton.

Trams start from Seaton at 10.00am and depart every 20 minutes in the summer.

The Seaton Terminus is next to the Tourist Information Centre in the Underfleet Car park with both the Town Centre and beach only a few minutes walk from the terminus

There is a 'midpoint' terminus at Colyford next to the White Hart Inn after which the trams travel on to Colyton a picturesque Devon Country town with its narrow winding streets of stone built cottages, friendly Inns, charming shops and the country's last Oak Bark Tannery.

The former British Rail Station at Colyton is now the Tramstop Restaurant serving breakfasts, coffee, lunches, evening meals and cream teas.

During the year Seaton Tramways organise various special events including a series of bird watching trips where an expert ornithologist is on board to give a commentary and answer questions.
