Bat Day Saturday 24th March
Free to all there will be a Photo gallery, nature walk, information, crafts, face painting and much more from Clinton Devon Estates, Jurassic Coast Trust, Devon Greater Horseshoe Bat Project, Jurassic Coast Ambassadors and The Pebbled Heaths Conservation Trust.
Dippy, the Natural History Museum’s famous Diplodocus will be at the caves as part of his South West Tour where you can make Dippy hats and there will be a Jurassic Coast rocks and fossil display.
Food will be avaible including bacon and sausage baps and cream teas.
There will also be Underground bat tours of caves costing £5 child/senior/adult, £15 family ticket of 4 – Under 5yrs free. No booking required, just turn up on the day.
There is limited parking at the quarry, but there will be a free shuttle bus calling at: Beer Square, Beer Head Car Park (£2 to park all day) and Pecorama (free).
