Seaton & District Show
The Seaton & District Show is to be held on Sunday 24th September 2017
After last years successful show when it was held again after a gap of four years the Seaton & District Lions Club are organising the show for 2017.
The Show will give local residents a chance to demonstrate their skills in growing flowers, fruit and vegetables as well as showing displays of floral art and making cakes and preserves.
There will be further classes for handicrafts including sewing, knitting, craft items made from different materials and photography exhibits.
Also a big youth section for people aged between 7 and 16 years which includes examples of handwriting, posters and craft entries.
There are over 150 classes in which people can enter, all of which will be judged and the winning entry in each class declared.
It will be held in Seaton Town Hall, the largest venue in town able to accommodate all of the expected entries.
The Seaton and District Show is now in its 130th year, let’s hope it continues for many more years to come. Programmes for the 2017 Seaton & District Show listing all of the entry classes, rules and entry forms will be on sale shortly in Animal Botanical, Queen Street.
