The 800 year old Harbour Inn is a thatched traditional public house opposite the Church in Axmouth.
Although it has a more modern looking restaurant and rear function room, the bar appears to be unchanged with its planked floor, oak panelling and pew style bench seats. The main feature is its huge open fire place complete with ovens and cooking irons.
The burning of the ashen faggot takes place on Christmas eve when a massive faggot six feet long and three feet high fills the pub’s open fire grate.The faggot burning is accompanied by verses and carol singing.
There is a good selection of Badger Ales including Badger and Tanglefoot.
You can eat either in the bar or restaurant with menus changing daily and according to the season.
The Ship Inn is a traditional pub located on Church Street.
The original inn dating back to the 10th Century was destroyed by fire on Christmas day 1879 after which it was rebuilt as we see it today.
There are two bars and a restaurant, a skittle alley and beer garden to the rear.
Choice of beers from the Otter brewery as well as Bass and Young's.
The White Hart Inn is next to the Seaton Tramway stopping platform for Colyford.
A traditional Devon pub with log fires, fine ales & wines. A full restaurant menu is available or you can choose from a wide range of tasty specials or bar meals.
In the centre of the village of Colyford, the Wheelwright Inn is an elegant 17th Century thatched building which was originally a wheelwright's place of work and has also been a tea shop.
Today the traditional exterior is a great contrast to the contemporary interior, with its oak floors and beams, cob walls, open fires and a bright, lively atmosphere. The Wheelwright Inn is well known for the quality of its food and relaxed dining atmosphere.
The Wheelwright Inn has recently received the 2209 Great British Pub Award for 'Best Food Pub in the South West'.

The Gerrard Arms is a traditional Village Pub serving good quality beers and traditional pub food
They have 2 regular cask beers, Bass and Branscombe Vale Brewery's Branoc plus a weekly guest beer.
The Gerrard Arms has a single bar, with an eating area. Traditional Sunday Roast served on Sundays.

The Kingfisher is a 16th century family run free house a short walk away from the Colyton Terminus ofSeaton Tramways.
Its menu offers a choice of bar snacks, steaks and homemade specials which can be served in the bar, dining room or beer garden.
Lunch and dinner are served seven days a week.
